I know this is back tracking a bit, but the pictures are great! We went to Kyle H. grandparents up in Lyons this year for our trees. The trees are beautiful and the company even better! The kids had a blast and so did we!

Prayers for Kai Hardesty

Kai Hardesty is a wonderful little 6 year old boy who is the son of a co-worker and friend, David Hardesty who I work with at the college.  At two years old Kai was diagnosed with a rare cancerous brain tumor, ependymoma. After 4 years of being free and clear, it was found that his cancer came back this past early November in his routine 6 month check-up MRI at St. Jude's Hospital.  This is Kai's website at Caring-bridge, that tells of his story and their family journey.  I know I have asked a few of you personally to pray for Kai's health and recovery, and to put him on the prayer rolls at your Church or Temple's.  Please continue to pray for Kai and keep positive thoughts for him.  He has a journey ahead of him of more radiation for the next six weeks.  This morning Kai and his family were suppose to be on the Today Show before the Macy's Thanksgiving Parade, highlighted for his journey.  Due to his surgery Kai missed the show and the parade, having surgery yesterday to remove that tumor.  Follow this Link to the Today Show and see Kai's story "a gifted childs battle for life" that was shown this morning.  David, is also featured on this segment.  You might even want to sign Kai's "guest-book" in Caring-bridge.  David reads most of the entries to Kai.  It is so important to have all the positive thoughts and prayers for continued good health for Kai and his family.  Many blessings to all and share a little with Kai.

Where's Waldo? or Where's Randa & Kyle

Take a look at these pictures.  Randa and Kyle were at the game yesterday too.  You can see by the arrows of where they are across from us. The first one is a regular shot with arrow showing where they are in the stadium.  The second is an arrow showing them.  The third, see if you can find them.  Now mind you, these shots were taken with my point-and-shoot Canon Powershot A620.  Not bad eh?

OSU vs Cal 2008

We worked the game yesterday at OSU.  Fireworks off the roof tops from both sides of the stadium at touchdowns, field goals and point afters.  You are up high upon the stadium next to the lights, with a birds-eye view of the game and a view of the surrounding city that is so gorgeous.  We also do some special effects on the field when the players take the field at the beginning of the game.  Here are a few shots of what we see while up there.  The only down-side?  We now know that we are also "SEEN" from down below and fan seating around the stadium.  No longer will I participate with the fans cou"first down hatchets". Never meant to be in a fish bowl...haha.  Yikes.  Here are few pictures of our view and of us.  Bryant and I are the 2nd and 3rd people in from the right by the lights.  Ugh...  I've also posted a new album of pictures.

Veteran's - Thank You!

Today I honor all the men and women who have served our country to preserve our rights and protect our freedom.  We all know someone in our lives who is a veteran, whether that is a family member, friend or a neighbor.  Take one moment out of your busy Tuesday and give that Veteran a hug and say Thank you!  Without them, you wouldn't be enjoying the freedoms you have!    

Anniversary Flowers

One for every year we have been married (36).  The pictures don't do the bouquet justice.  It is absolutely beautiful.  What a guy I've got.  I'm spoiled and loving it.
