Happy Birthday Haley !

Happy 7th Birthday Haley Ashlyn! Can't believe you are already 7 years old, so bright and beautiful.  You are a super smarty and an amazing talented artist! You are thoughtful and insightful beyond your tender years.  You are a wonderful athlete and are excelling in soccer and running.  Speed should be your middle name.  You are so loved my sweet granddaughter! You touch our hearts in ways you will probably never fully understand.  I love to talk with you and find out what is going on in your mind, which is usually filled with a 101 questions at once.  I love it!  Happy Birthday sweets, Love you!

Birthdays are Blessings! Getting older, means another year here!

I had a birthday!  I turned 55 years young.  In some places, that means I now qualify for the senior discount? haha, fun for me! Birthdays are blessings and I hope to have many more of these blessings in my life!  By the way...Bryant and the kids got me a DSi and games to go with it.  What fun to play games on the run! hehe. 

The art of T-Ball:

This was Easton's first year playing T-ball.  He is such an athletic little guy.  He learned lots, and more importantly had fun doing it.  I think he liked playing with his friends the most.

Haley - JC Relays

I know I'm going back some...but I need to get all of May's activities in.  Haley was a 2nd grade runner for her Gubser School relay team.  She ran anchor, which she was thrilled about.  Her team didn't come in first, but she had a blast.  You can tell by the smile that she wore all day.

Haley at JC Relays

Haley tried out and made the Gubser 1st Grade team for JC Relays.  The race is held at Bush Pasture Park Football field and track.  The relays are a combined race between all of the elementary schools in the Salem area.  Haley is pretty fast and they decided she was to run in the anchor position.  It is exciting for the kids, they have fun talking and playing with their friends and meeting new friends while there.  With the kids it is so simple, run and have fun.  They don't care if they come in first or last as long as they get a ribbon!  Haley ran in her anchor position.  I'm not sure where she finished as far as the heat of other teams.  All I know is that she had a blast and was smiling the whole time she ran!  WTG Haley.  I hope you get to run again next year.
