I had a wonderful Mother's Day, a surprise just like when the girls were little. Randa & Bree surprised me at a little after 8:00am with breakfast! They had wanted to do the "breakfast in bed" but I surprised them by being up and dressed when they got here. They brought over yummy scrambled eggs, sausage and pancakes. Along with a large Starbucks coffee in my new Mothers Day Starbucks Travel Mug. They also got me a big bag of starbucks coffee beans...yummo!... and brought me carnations! Can you say spoiled? Thank you to my wonderful son-in-laws Kyle x 2 and grandson Garret for making the breakfast also. They all stayed for about an hour before heading out to Church. It was a super surprise by thoughtful childrens. Thank you, Thank you. What a super-fun_delicous way to start my day. BDB and I just kind of hung out for the morning, ran an errand or two. Of course tried to go by a shoe store and buy Mother's Day shoes. Didn't have any luck though. Darn. What? You mean you don't go buy Mothers Day shoes? Hey any Holiday or excuse works for me. wink, wink! In the afternoon we got a call from the youngest, who was over at the coast for Mother's Day, saying that they forgot to leave the remote garage opener to get the dog since they were going to spend the night over at the coast. BDB tried getting in, but for once the kids locked the house up tight! So Dad & Mom to the rescue........and we drove over to meet them half way at Spirit Mountain. Got the fun of driving behind someone who wobbled and weaved in and out of his lane into on coming traffic and over the fog line. ACKKKK! We didn't know if the man was drunk or just couldn't handle the country roads but I was scared that he was going to hurt someone. I got the license plate number and BDB called and reported the driver. We finally saw a Sheriffs unit go by us just before we got off the highway at Spirit Mountain. Our guy followed us off though. Ugh.... Anyway, met up with the kids, grabbed the remote and turned around and headed back to Salem. We did detour to Monmouth to the Burgerville for a fresh Strawberry Milkshake. Again...yummo! haha I had a wonderful Mother's Day, full of fun, surprises and yummos. Can't beat it.
